Something ends, something begins

The last few months in our lab have been wonderfully busy. We’ve been teaching and wrapping up several projects, which are now reaching their well‑deserved finish lines. As always, this brings a mix of satisfaction, excitement, and just a touch of nostalgia. To honor these moments, we gathered in our traditional celebration spot and raised a toast to newly accepted papers (at least three, that’s how many I managed to count!). Stay tuned for more details soon!

We also lifted another glass to wish Jon the best of luck as he heads to the University of Exeter for his Bekker fellowship, awarded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. We’ll miss having him around the lab, but we’re cheering on his new adventures.

And of course, when one chapter closes, another one opens. Fresh projects are kicking off, new collaborations are taking shape, and we’re actively looking for motivated students to join us. If you’re interested — don’t hesitate to reach out!
